Zoe - Claimed - Uncolored

This is my character Zoe in the book I'm writing on FictionPress called ZOE. It's the first story in my Demigod Academy series. My name is Zoe. I have no last name because I have no family. I have no home. I have no friends. I have nothing. - From ZOE.
~ FlashBack ~
My parents woke me up and told me to get dressed, we were going out. So I got into some new clothes and followed my mommy and daddy out to our car. We drove for I don't know how long but the next thing I knew I was being woken up. We walked up to a large building that said "Ms. Hattie's Home For Little Girls." (AN: Despicable Me Reference!) My mommy knocked. When the owner opened the door she took one look at me and screamed, then locked the door. My parents left me on the porch of the place and drove away. The orphanage owner looked out the window and then opened the door again. She looked at me and I could see the sheer terror in her eyes. She handed me a dagger, "You're going to need this soon." she said, then she hurriedly closed the door and I heard the locks twist. She looked at me through the window again and shooed me with her wrinkled hand. I hung my head and walked out toward the road, lugging the too big dagger behind me.

This story is my twist on Greek Mythology. Much less depressing than that excerpt (my phone hates me! It kept spelling expert!) but that's only a sample. She's a godling, the child of two gods of different mythologies. Egyptian and Greek in her case.
